Good enough for concepting, background assets, blocking and rapid iteration, and improving quickly. Hero assets still typically need manual retopology, UV work and texture cleanup, because generated topology is rarely animation ready out of the box.

Image to 3D currently produces more predictable results because the source image pins down proportions and style. Text to 3D is faster to explore ideas with but gives you less control over the exact output.
GLB is the most common default, and most tools also offer OBJ, FBX or USDZ on paid tiers. If you need PBR texture sets or quad topology, check the export options closely before subscribing.
